Is the Touch Screen response of Omnia as good as iPhone? Or does it have an Capacitive touch screen or resistive?

Seriously Consider the Iphone. Using it for 3 months & it works like a charm.
The best part is the touch screen & not to forget the Apps.
Have downloaded & installed more then 200 apps & still new apps are out daily. When it comes to apps no phone is even close to the Iphone.
With the 3.0 software most of the features which were not there have been included.
My suggestion ...just wait for the 3gs & check out the prices or else go for the Iphone 3G & you wont regret it for sure.

It's a simple choice.If you want more hw features.......great 8MP camera which can even record hd video( not sure how gud the video quality is though!) , great screen ( the best screen a mobile device currently has) then get it. Downside:- it's based on symbian....so most of the apps/games available for it are of little use.Go for this phone if you only care about having a great hardware and don't care about mobile apps/games/gud user interface,etc,etc.
option 2: wait for htc hero or iphone 3gs to hit india.HTC hero has prolly the best UI any phone's got incl. the iphone(even the great iphone UI looks dated compared to this phone).Also since it's based on android there will be a ton of apps released for this phone.Just don't expect it to offer you a gaming experience similar to the iphone. Also the hardware used is pretty dated/mediocre.It simply struggles to keep up with the amazing UI offered by the phone and the end result you get a phone that's quite laggy and somewhat annoying to use.
iphone 3gs:- It's not a feature packed phone(only 3 MP camera, no real multi-tasking) but has a great UI and an amazing hw to support it.the gfx chip used by iphone 3gs is quite powerful and you can look forward to some amazing games.The one thing that makes the iphone better than all other mobile devices is the amazing no. of apps/games available for this phone.There is an app for everything and there is a long list of pretty good pick up and play games available that helps you kill time.You can also edit videos on the phone itself.Downside :- you can't multitask (unless you install cydia) and you will be stuck using itunes to transfer apps to the phone although there are third party apps that will allow you to transfer songs,etc from your pc to iphone and back to pc.
So the choice is yours.But what ever you do stay away from N97 and the other junk they churn out.
