iPhone users... What's stopping you from jumping ship ?

There are pro`s and con`s of everything and so does the ios . But then for me the weight of cons is less than the weight of pros. I just wish that the next gen ios device is a bit bigger than the current one.

I am waiting for an even bigger model. The 5.5 inch,it will be apt for me. Good for gaming, movie watching etc.

Can Android promise me this?

- No lag, no crash, no restart.
- OS Updates, I don't want wait for an year to get the update and plus I don't want use third party firmwares.
- My iPhone 4 is 3 years old now. Running 6.1.4 jailbroken. Gives me two days full battery back up, even after 3 fcking years.

I am getting all this on my LG G2.
I used to love my 4s but never got good battery life on 3g. In fact this is the first phone I am happy with battery wise. Will move on to G Flex which has even better battery life.

And I used to face crashes regularly on my iPhone as have many other users. So don't say apps on iPhone don't crash.
Android has come a long way from the cheap imitation it was trying to be and most of your above allegations don't hold true anymore.

Amazing Rdst, i am shell shocked. Not poking at you but since the very inception of iphone from iphone 2g,i have never faced any crash or lag. But its an OS and you cant make an OS without bugs. So your experience has not been good with ios. I am yet to face any -ve aspect of ios and till the time i dont face it,i am happy with it.

Dont you read previous reply before asking these? How many days you guys going grind the same thing again n again??????? I very clearly said.. i've used a phone without restarting for almost 4 months and what else you need? Battery backup in my s4+ will thrash iphone5 any day... Regarding update... Yes, obviously you need it when they release a product which cannot even do basic stuffs and later introduce(read as copy from other OS) it with the name of so called updates.

I think the battery life being superior in ios is an outdated myth now. With android 4.2 and upwards, most of the phones have great battery lives. My phone which costs less than 1/10 of a current iphone 5 gen has amazing battery life on a 1500 mah battery.

Guys please no OS wars. Infact this thread is not even for people who are using other OSes. Doesn't mean you cannot reply but please don't say this is good or this is bad and start fighting.

@Renegade please cleanup thread if possible.

Can u describe your usage pattern n how you get 2 days out of our 3 year old iphone 4. I have a iphone 4s thats 2.5 year old and i have never got more than a day.

Ah.. the smartphones. Things were way better with Dumbphones. stuff that matters were its look, design and ergonomics. :) and the fact that it does what its made for, CALLING PEOPLE.
Honestly I'm using a Moto RAZR (Android) just because of WhatsApp Capability isn't on iPad. Rest all I'm using my phone just for SMS and Calling.
Seriously nowadays people expect too much from cell phones.

I am not jumping due to:
Negligible crashes/Awesome stability
Straight forward/No frills UI
Awesome apps/games
Awesome sound quality (Apple Ear pods)

(Besides, just got my iphone5 last year October(switched from android)... So no chance of switching so early)

I went from Galaxy S2 running last on ICS 4.0 to iPhone 4s in '12.

Stylistic choices on iOS appeal to me more than Android.
I don't like the app drawer on Android it looks really poor. My initial experience even with simple apps like google search, Ebay etc were much better on iPhone.
Music was much better without any tweaking like android with poweramp.
All I did with my GS2 was tweak around trying to get perfect settings. Keep closing those apps because it would lag and stutter with heavy usage. With iOS I feel more efficient.
Also the screen died after 15 months and with such late updates I swore off Samsung products. Never wanted to go back to Android once started with iPhone. I would have loved a 4" iPhone though (when I bought it in 2012). Most of the things have been improved in Android.
I have absolutely no issues with using iTunes, just another software.

I was screwing around with iOS 7 beta before launch and my wifi chip got damaged.
I had apple care and I was given a new phone (checked through refurbished test ) as replacement.

am waiting to get the gold iphone 5s , heard that iphone 6 is gonna launch soon , so 5s prices may reduce. I love the impeccable perfection with which the iphone is made of.

Contact @Being.smart , he had mentioned sometime before he can get Gold 5S for discounted price. It is iPhone so don't expect the price to go the way it goes down for samsung devices. May be wait for iPhone 6 to launch and then scour olx and such for 2nd hand iPhones.
