iPhone users... What's stopping you from jumping ship ?

I have one just for the ios experience but not using as my primary phone or anything for obvious reasons. Else I would have jumped ship by now..

What I liked:
  • App ecosystem is good, less bloatware compared to Symbian or Android
  • Hardware and Software is perfectly tied-up together offering an intuitive and streamlined operation
  • Screen resolution and touch response is good, though screen size is waay outdated
  • Safari browser is the best for under 4" devices and eliminates the need to install any 3rd party mobile browsers
  • Findmyiphone works like a charm. I'm using ADM for Droid and Periodic for Symbian which is a hit and miss sometimes to locate phone. Though their iCloud is buggy at times syncing to PC.
  • Simple user interface with no widgets or any kind of homescreens to waste time with (this can be a con too)
  • Camera is one among the best for amateur photography (please excuse dedicated camera phones like the pureview series or some of the samsung and xperia phones, those are for serious photobuffs)
  • Build quality is good

What I dont like:
  • Overpriced for its specs and features (well thats just for all apple products, aint it?)
  • Battery life not good enough for a smartphone this pricey. I know this is in pros list for most people here, but my 2 year old 4S lasts only about 12-14 hours for my usage and I find it to be annoying at times. For the same kind of usage my Xperia T lasts 18-20 hours and an old Nokia N8 20 hours+
  • It gets hot like hell when playing games or browsing on 3G. I know most of the today's phones heats up but this is by far the hottest toaster I have had in my palm...
  • Multi-tasking is in its infancy. When I saw the WebOs style multitasking interface first on ios, I thought it would be good or better than the now-dead palm os; but it disappointed me.
  • Phone is bulky and thick especially since I have used Xperia Arc S and other slimmer phones..
  • No network video calling, NFC, memory card slot, HDMI, bluetooth file transfer etc.
  • need for special data/charging cable and everything has to go thru itunes which is annoying while travelling
Thats all I can think of from top of my head. I am aware that some ios fans may disagree with my cons list but thats because I'm using a lot of other devices and mobile operating systems and was comparing iPhone to them

to sum it up, Would I buy another iPhone in the future? Yes
Can I depend on iPhone alone now for all my mobile needs? Nope

and oh mine is a iPhone 4S 16Gb running ios7...
