when i connect my ipod nano 4g,8 gb to PC using the usb cable ,nothing happens(not detected) :huh: but i can charge the ipod using the ipod dock....:ashamed:

plz help....
 
only have one cable taht too not orignal as i lost my orignal usb:ashamed: cable,,tried soft reset and it doesn't work. The battery on the ipod drains very fast, i think problem its related to ipod battery, its weak i think..:huh:

how to replace ipod nano 4g battery?
 
^ Get a new original cable and see if it works. Since your ipod works fine with a dock, it's obviously the cable's fault.
 
go to device manager and see if theres any usb mass storage device with a yellow triangle on it.if yes disable that device and enable it again.......................report back
