PS: Is that a pacifier? I think the middle-eastern scientist said that it was to keep the shrapnel bits from traveling the entire body and eventually enter his heart. It had some electromagnet in it to attract the metal pieces towards it too AFAIR. :)

Maybe not that great as great movie, but it's an official gadget porn for us techies. Effects are cool, Tony Stark's attitude is sharp yet witty (Robert Downy Jr. fits perfectly for the roll, just like Christian Bale for Batman), Supporting cast is well utilized. Just full paisa vasool !! :D

... and Looks like I should have waited for the full credits to roll over, I missed that scene too (above mentioned).

WAtched it, liked it, can't wait for The Dark knight. :D

Edit - I just watch superhero movies because of the feeling of freedom they give you. The tingle you get when spiderman zipped through the traffic, or this dude, when he flew against the F-22's. Brings a tear to my eyes.. *sobs*
 
Was expecting more from this movie but except for the CG .. the story did not have much to offer. I would give it 2/5.

Ranjit what are you saying?? :O :O I for once felt that there was less CG compared to other superhero movies but more emphasis on building the character of Tony Stark.

Sigh... to each his own I guess. If it weren't for my exams, I would have gone again to watch it. :clap: :clap:
 
Just came back home after watching the movie... Its a decent movie no doubts but ending surely didnt justify the rest of the movie...
 
Nice movie...

Missed some 5-10 mintes at the start and before the interval (stupid slow food counter)..

overall, i think the Batman Begins/Spiderman 1 was better as a starting movie.. this had more action sequences and not a bad storyline... but could've been made more thicker..
thanks for the hint to stay after the credits.. me and 3 friends stayed back.. had to bug them to stay back though :P

other than us, there were 2 kids and a lady, and the cleaners. :|

P.S. i dont mind t hese after credit scenes.... unless you dont know about them..
 
Saw the movie...My nephew and I liked the movie. I will get it as a dvd in the future with the first fantastic four.
