Is Ambrith at Koti Trustworthy for modding xbox 360's

no he can not be trusted, plain and simple

go for it only as a last resort, and 1300 bux is too high, id have done it for you free if you lived near by

anyway, no way to check for which version you got installed, so its best to stay offline, the gfx is because of the TV, get an LCD tv or LCD monitor atleast and connect to it

Guys,,,thats starnage that Xbox market has no competion in hyderabad,,,i believe not only for modding but for Copied dvd's of Xbox,PC u need to go to Ambrit..look at the monopoly he is having....i won't go to that A**H*** at any cost...Will live with 1.51 & miss all Wave 4-5 games:'(

LOL! You could always convert them to wave 3 ISO's and play on your console. That is only if you don't plan to Xbox Live with them.

Well if the Manufacturing Date on your console is Sep-09 then it is likely that your console had the latest liteon drive with firmware revision 9xxxx.

But then again i bought one with a earlier lot no. which had liteon firmware revision 8xxxx.v1

Modding this drive is a bit tricky. One of the possible ways is to use a MRA hack where traces need to be cut on the drives PCB, key dumped and so on.

If you paid anywhere less than 1500 then you got it done for cheap.
