15-20K Is cellbuddy safe? Thinking of buying 11 pro max for dad

  • Thinking of buying 11 pro max 256 gb unknown part error for dad around 20k from cellbuddy … ik ip 12 can get around this price but battery is imp & storage + also 11 pro max camera is decent telephoto no need of 5g…. Cashify is expensive like 26k
  • & since most refurbished websites has changed battery & display i feel unknown part make sense… also there is separate category for no face id phone which makes me think display would be okay even if it has been changed
  • If anyone has experience from this pls share

The quora replies are indeed looking good. If you are from mumbai, you can give a visit. But anyways second hand phone from an unknown person is based on luck. You can get many midrange anrdoid phones in the same budget. Will follow this thread incase to see your experience.

In iPhones, it is now very easy to make it appear all is good. They have software to change literally everything. Serial, battery health percentage, etc etc. It is definitely super risky.

Seems to me like most people agree that they sell repaired/refurbished phones without mentioning it.

Thanks y'all I have seen mixed review lot of negative one online...they have also been accused of using bot army for reviews on reddit quora... currently i am sceptical , i will update if i ever buy from this or decided not to

With so many red flags, I strongly recommend you do not pursue this. Get a new iPhone if budget allows or used from reliable source (no clue what a reliable source is because even an individual can pay Rs. 250 to a shop and get the health to 95% if they wanted to).
These shops are number one scammers and if you want to check more shops, i suggest check basement of Indraprasth shopping center in Borivali west near station. But I would still be vary of used phones / iPhones. Good for accessories though.

I had enquired about Airpods Pro 2 with them. The website showed an open box model for 10K. I went to the store and asked for them. They showed me a piece saying it's an open box but it was used and had aged. I said it was used, but they kept saying it was just normal wear and tear since it was a display unit. Now what is it? A display unit or an open box? Also, only the Apple store BKC/others have display/trial units now. No other store keeps trial units of Airpods. Then where did they get the display unit when there was no Apple store in India back then?
Similar experience with used iPhones at their store too. All fudged.
