CPU/Mobo Is CORSAIR memory compatible with GIGABYTE motherboard?

I am looking to build myself a computer however i have been informed that certain types of RAM may not be compatible with certain motherboards so am i wondering if this RAM:
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC RAM (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9)
is compatible with this motherboard
Gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo (rev. 1.3)
 
that memory module should be compatible but getting vengeance is of no use for a G41 nobo - coz the mobo won't support more than 1333 Mhz ram speed and the heatsink of vengeance is very tall which can create issues with some 3rd party cpu coolers. For Op Corsair Value Select 1333 Mhz is good though.
