Recently, I met an OLX seller in Visakhapatnam who purchased GPUs for his editing and rendering work. The GPUs were used for only 3-4 months before he closed his shop due to losses. I bought an RX 6600 XT from him for 14k (he offered this price because he’s clearing stock). It’s working flawlessly, with temperatures under 70°C at max stress. He also has a 1660, rx 6600xt and a 2060 available, and he’s offering a warranty/test period. Note: The GPUs were purchased around 2022, and an invoice is available. Interested persons, DM me!I’m in the process of building my first gaming rig, and due to a fixed budget, I’ve decided to go for a used GPU. This PC will be primarily used for gaming and nothing else. Initially, I checked online platforms like Gameloot and Gamenation, but their prices for used GPUs were almost the same as new ones. This led me to explore alternatives like Facebook Marketplace and OLX.
On Facebook Marketplace, I came across a seller listing a RTX 3070 for ₹17,500. I checked his profile and noticed he has multiple listings for 3000-series GPUs, with prices ranging from ₹17K to ₹25K. However, none of the GPUs he’s selling come with a warranty, bill, or original box. The only assurance he provides is a 7-day testing period.
I’m a bit skeptical about these GPUs. I’m not sure if they’re counterfeit or not.
Here is what my build looks like.
