Laptops Is it a good buy???

I recently bought a used Thinkpad T61 from an uncleji who bought it from US for Rs. 30,000/-

Config is:

c2d 7300(2 ghz , 4mb l2 cache)
2gb ram (2x1gb 667 mhz ddr2)
100gb 7200rpm hdd
14.1" wd screen (1280x800)
combo drive & 6 cell battery.

It ws used for only a month...

As it ws purchased in u.s. it hs no warranty ... so wt do u people say is it a gud buy????

only the warranty thing is worrying me & i hv a frnd who is willing to buy this for the same price i bought it for .... tht's why i was just wondering.....
