No it is not appropriate. You'll have to expand your rear bracket. Plus you would loose your bikes performance. Slow acceleration to be precise. Would wobble at high speeds.
There should have been a way out , hopefully , there might be an upgrade for the older version of the bike , with the upcoming new version of the bike . It has been one month since i buyed the r15 and the tyres look as if they have been beaten preety badly . The tyre grip has worn out .
