np dear, its good to at least know that this is possible :D

i know if somebody here in TE can find out how then it would be fun

we have so many gurus someone would be working in tecomn firm

what do u say ???

should i make anew thread asking about this or will it come under the restricted activities

i would at least love this functionality

i doubt, it would be high tech stuff..... (except sim cloning). For two cards to work, it must be some editing of db entry of airtel. And for non airtel employee.... it is as good/bad as h@ck1ng their servers. Ur friend had access to this or to person who could do this. So it was possible.

Some months back when i got a postpaid i got phone no (which was different than the agent promised). So i was like mad at him. But in few days time, he just changed cell no. registered to my sim to one he promised. So things like these are definitely not impossible.

I don't know ,but I feel something illegal like this should not be discussed a lot.

thats not hacking
u r not taking free talktime , making free calls or calls at reduced rates
its just that ur sim has 2 nos in it both of course u would have paid for and u can talk in that whatever the prepaid amount be or ur postpaid plan limits .
if somebody want to steal the prepaid or post paid then no one can stop that guy , whether its one phone or 2 phone.

if mods think its not correct i will remove it
i have not given any hack tool or guide to do that
we r just discussing if it is done how much easier it can get for all those who carry 2 sims of same company .

rest now is upon mods

There is a thing available in the market which lets you connect 2 sims to the phone, to switch between the numbers, you just have to restart the phone. The thing costs Rs.100 & can found in mobile shops.

My friend is using this & finds it very easy & comfortable with no probs.

Hi everybody,
Had bought Simmax 12 in 1 . But that didnt work as the software was not able to read the sim values. It takes around 4 hrs to completly read sim values. Tried on Hutch MTNL and BPL in mumbai and failed on all three. if anybody wanna try can ship it. Though the writers/ readers are available on ebay they are useless without the sim card capable of been written.
Hope this helps

guys all mobiles dont have this 2 sims adapter . i tried for mine and was not available

there has to be some space to fit this and 2 sims

with the advent of slim sets now generally all new sets are not supported

but it works like a charm for all those sets which have space

If we r able to somehow fit 2 nos in the same sim now ...then that would be something . seems both will have to be of same company for experimenting .

Regarding Legality of Sim cloning, In my opinion, cloning your own sim should be allowed. It make our lives lot more simpler and we don't have to carry two phone handsets for different connections. waise, this line system is already built in many popular handsets. so why can't be use this feature

Imagine using the a single handset for two number!

sounds cool!

So suppose if we clone airtel sim's under unlimited gprs scheme for 15rs/day. Can we use the gprs with both cloned and original sim at same time ?

And i make this thread illegal with this question :D
