Is it possible to play GT Legends online in India

Hi Guys,
I am a big fan of playing games online. I used to be really into battlefield 1942 online play when I was in Europe. Now that i am back in India, I want to start playing these games online again. I have downloaded the demo of GT Legends and really like that game. I have a logitech MOMO steering wheel with force feedback and game play is truly awesome. However i am contemplating that is it worth buying the game for 30 dollars? I will buy it if I can play online... Will buying an official game allow me to play online even if I am in India, what is the delay if the servers are in US, is game play possible with 400 milli second delay? or will I just not be able to play with that delay, or is game play possible in first place.
The generic question being, if we buy a game (officially) thats not so popular in India and doesnt have local servers here, than is it still possible to play that game online with servers in US, Europe or Australia. Will buying online key allow me to connect to these servers, what delay is ok? Or is it, that games from Australia, only work with australian servers online, Europe games work with european servers, and us version of the game only lets you see servers in US?
Please let me know, as my freind is coming back from US next week.
 
It will work but you will keep getting kicked from more than half the servers because of the high latencies.

Also unless you particularly like the older cars from GT Legends, I suggest you try GTR 2 from the same company which was released just this week.
It has the 2004 cars such as the Masareti MC12 and BMW M3 GTR :D

If you just want a good online race sim, get Live for Speed.
Although the AI in LFS is really weak and the game doesn't deliver a racing 'experience' as complete as GTR and GTL.
 
Yes, if you have the original game you will be able to play it online. Again typically you will get around 300 latency to US, and about 200-250 to Europe. Since this is not Counter Strike, these latencies will mostly provide acceptable gameplay.
 
Can we buy online games (original games) from India? Can I get a copy of GTR 2 original cd from india? If so from where and how much dough?
 
Ofcourse you can buy original games in India. Goto any Music World/Planet M and you will find quite a few popular games. However I havent seen GT Legends anywhere :(.

Again if you have a Credit Card, you can download games legally from websites like Direct2Drive.
 
GTR2 does not have starforce, only GTL has it.

And I doubt either of the games will ever release here, Simbin doesn't know how to market their games.
So acquire GTR2 and buy GTL, lol.
