OC & Modding Is it possible to repair or replace the power button of a PC cabinet?

How expensive it was and whats your location?
I bet it might differ across cities but will definitely give an average pricing if someone ever falls in your situation...
It cost me 1500 in Bengaluru. But this will be a lot cheaper if you can go and get it done in person because a 18*24 black acrylic sheet on Amazon costs 799. (which includes the money you pay to Amazon). My panel size was roughly 18*18 so you can just get an idea that Acrylic shouldn't be so expensive. Besides that, even if you add labor charges it should be max 700-800 rupees not more than that I would think. These are all guesstimates of course. Someone can get it for cheaper or more expensive. Their are multiple variables involved in how much it might cost you.
This one doesn't seem to be available, could you suggest another one?
which one do you mean when you say "this"?
Could someone please suggest another option. Currently im using reset button to power on

Bit costly but not that much esp. considering the drilled holes for the thumbscrews which is very much required to have the panel fit perfectly in place with locks.
Nevertheless, these 1.5k saved you altogether roughly 8-12k saving you from another fish tank investment!

I once tried to mod my Deepcool cabinet which made it ugly because a carpenter tried to saw the side panel using a saw even after I insisted him to use something better. Then I went for CNC cutting where they asked for more money so I replaced the cabinet saying that it has a defect. Fortunately they accepted and replaced my cabinet.
For me fish tank cabinets look ugly but small matx mff ones I like with transparent side panels.

Yup, exactly. Although I would have never crossed a budget of 10k for a cabinet but even then this saved me from making an unnecessary spend, especially since I am planning to use my AM4 build for the next 5 years and toying with the idea of changing my processor to a Ryzen 5600 from the existing R3500.

yes, when people with no experience or little knowledge get their hands on computers, it can turn out to be a disaster. Lucky for you, you got away with a replacement. I am wary of buying from Deepcool now since i came to know that they don't provide replacement panels. This means that the only option available for you to get them made locally in case the tempered glass bursts (which it will inevitably do sooner or later).
