No1 can teach U, U should just know basics - patience, courage and troubleshoot.

Just buy OCIng paradise hardware and U will learn automatically, U dont need PhD for this, just common sense.

Wat motherboard do u have ?

Overclocking is completely dependent on wat motherboard u have . It should have overclocking options like raising FSB for RAM dividers or Changing CPU multiplier (only available for Extreme Edition processors ) .

In the BIOS of ur motherboard search for words like frequency ,multiplier,divider.

U will also need to need the voltage settings for ur CPU if u wanna make it run faster .

First let us atleast know wat motherboard u have , we can help u with it :)
 
its not risky at all if u do it with some overclocking knowledge...

u just have to draw the line when you get to close to frying ur chip.
 
Overclocking is easy , you just need some common sense and read some online tutorials . BTW it's really hard to physically damage present day chips while overclocking :P .
 
Atleast tell us what your rig consists of...that way people can guide you in a specific way and make it easier for you.
