Is LastPass safe?

You can easily disable it. Every client has a setting for it, it's just not enabled by default. Which is just as well, since it's a security risk. The default should be less risky options.

If you're using windows 10, you can use windows hello pin or a fingerprint reader. Haven't tried it yet though.
What I meant therein was that with LP I never had the problem of entering my master password, ever. It automatically logged in upon entering the browser. And that was the default setting as well. Maybe LP does it the exact same way BW does, storing the passwords locally in order to do that. But unlike BW it never showed me any warning that I might not be safe and that I should set a timeout or any message like that. I am an amateur user who doesn't care for all these technical jargons anyway.

Moved back to LP and and as usual it works without entering any master password every.damn.time.
