Is Micromax 32" LED HD TV worth to buy?(Budget 14-16k)

Toshiba is good. Not as sleek as Sony/Sammy but good PQ.
Also check out service near your parents place - for any brand yo are considering. Call them & see how they respond. Response varies for the same brand in diff areas/cities.
 
Go for a proper branded tv. You can get steal deals on LG and Samsungs lowest models. for 20-22k (from what I remember last.) Dont go for random brands that go kaput in a few yrs. Tvs should last atleast 5-8yrs. And if you are worried about features a simple android dongle or something will make your tv smart.

as per samsung VESA wall mount is supported. Normally once you connect cables threre will be hardly any need to remove it.
Im not recommending buying a samsung from ebay. Then again you have to compromise somewhere.

I have decided to go with Toshiba P2305 Cricket Series.
Can you state Samsung 32 EH4003 LED advantage over that ???
 
Well let me tell you something about Toshiba P2305 Cricket Series.
It does not playback BluRay movies which has DTS audio.It does not decode DTS Audio just like LG.So far i have seen only sony and samsung playback DTS.
Most of my movies are in BluRay and has dts audio,so i opted for the samsung.

If DTS is not an issue for ya then go ahead coz this tv is quite awesome for the price range.

I will play videos downloaded from youtube downloader(via YTD software) most of the times.
Rest will be movies downloaded from yify or TPB.

How to know that video has DTS audio?
 
On the movie folder name or the file name it will be mentioned like this :
The Raid 2: Berandal 2014 1080p BluRay DTS x264-DON
Rio 2 2014 1080p BluRay DTS-ES x264-LolHD
Soul Men 2008 1080p BluRay DD5.1 x264-CtrlHD
The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey 2012 Extended Edition 720p BluRay DTS x264-TayTO.mkv

I brought that 32 inch micromax tv 2 weeks ago & i must say its awesome. It works perfectly with my old setup box & the picture quality is superb. It has 2 usb ports which comes handy & the best part is it has VGA port which other brands don't have. So you can connect to your pc direct(you don't need to buy expensive hdmi cord).
The only negative point i found is that the sound quality is not good when you play it in high volumes.
Also this TV supports all formats(mkv,dat,avi,etc).
I got this TV from flipkart for 14.8k exchange with old TV. Got normal delivery the next day. Micromax guy came the next day after delivery & installed. So everything went smooth. That guy also gave me his number & said if i have any problem i can call him instead of filing a rma form. So i will say after sale service is good :p

I will recommend other brands only if you want to buy a full HD tv & new HD setup box & ready to pay thousands monthly towards it :p
