PC Peripherals Is my APC 1.5KVA not working to its potential?

I recently bought an APC 1.5KVA UPS for my HTPC which doubles up as my download rig.

The config is

E6300

2GB RAM

7900GS

160GB + 750GB + 1TB + 1.5TB HDDs

Now when I bought the UPS, I was hoping to get at least 30-45 mins backup since there is no monitor involved. But the UPS barely lasts 15 mins.

Is that OK or there is something wrong with the piece I got?

i am not sure of the battery that is being used in APC 1.5 Kva. But the back up time depends on the battery and the watts consumed.

we cannot come to a conclusion without the availability of the information with regards to battery and watts consumed

For my system apc 1.5kva gives backup of around 40-50min. 15min definitely is low.

With this config , the UPS should give a back up of atleast 45 mins
