Is the Airtel 2Mbps Unlimited (2999) plan available in Hyderabad

Intially I had my own doubts opting for Reliance BB..Now they are a changed company..Hopefully u will have a good experience..No FUP at all..been using their 1299/- plan from Oct'10.

Nice speeds particularly the uploads look sweet, BTW did they give you a ADSL modem and a telephone instrument or its just plain Ethernet.
 
Yeah it is plain Ethernet, Although the guy who got me signed up told me that they give a Modem and Phone, they called me up later and clarified that 2Mbps plan is given using direct Ethernet. And yeah, the speeds are pretty good so far, during night times I am getting 3 Mbps download and 6 Mbps uploads in the speed test. There is no traffic shaping happening for either utorrent or direct http downloads. However video buffering on gametrailers.com is not that good (there are frequent pauses to buffer) as compared to my Airtel connection. YouTube however seems to be fine for the most part.
