I might be going to Dubai for a few days. I would like to buy some good DDR400 RAM. Is there a "LR", or any good / honest shop in Dubai ?

What else would be worth buying abroad ? Most of the other stuff is available here.

Yes, there is an equivalent:

"Khalid bin Walid" road, also known as "Computer Street".



The road is lined with shops selling comp h/w. Check out as many shops as you can, before purchasing; bargaining is a must! I got the price of my cordless KB/mouse down to Rs.1350 from 1755 ! :D

btw, a lot of da ppl there speak hindi.

My trip will take a while. It's being ... uhhh ... "sponsored" ... by my cousin. It'll take some time for the visa. And, how do I send it to Vapi ? I'll let you know when I'm going.
