If u wanna save a lil more try ocz gold ddr3 1333mhz ram would cost about 5k... bin usin them myself... ocs nicely and gold heatsinks=bling :D

I got my WD drive replaced in 10-12 days. Any way if the green drive has low performance than the .12 seagate then .12 is in and wd is out.

But i am worried about gaming with 5770 on 1920*1080 . It might not give better FPS with all the eye candy turned on :(. Should i go for a lower resolution LCD, something like Samsung Myst Eco B2030 which has the native resolution of 1600*900 ?
 
Im not sure.. but i got them in bangalore pretty easily... gotta check tht out with ppl frm mumbai...

Replace mouse with the gigabyte m6800 gaming mouse ~ 675 bucks save arnd 900 bucks there

Get the seagate 7200.12 1tb slightly cheaper... used for over a year with no problems... get 500GB if u wanna save another grand...

Along with the savings frm RAM... try to squeeze in the 5850 instead of the 5770 if u really wanna game at Full HD with everythin maxed...

Might just be slightly over ur budget... if u can get one for under 15k... ull be goin like 1k over ur budget...

Cant really think of anything else to Trim the price :P
 
also go for altec lancing VS2621 ~: same budget around 2250

or even bettter ones are VS4121 ~ : 2800

altec lancing sound quality is superb

my friend is using VS4121 since 8 months

it will be advisable to go for VS4121 for watching movies on pc as the sound quality is of these speakers is just like home theatre

the 5850 cost 6k more than a 5770 , its way out of budget. I had bought m6800 for my gaming cafe, trust me it sucks , tends to skip every now and then with fps games.

don't go for samsung B2030.
benq G2220 HD is better with wider screen and HD

you can reduce the resolution

but 22" monitor will be good for surfing and watching movies
 
^^ Main purpose is GAMING with most, if not all eye candy ON @ native resolution. So samsung B2030 is in.

You made a good decision regarding the Samsung B2030 Monitor as 5770 is struggling in most of the new games @ full HD, if you want to play more demanding games that may come in a year or so you'll definitely have to turn the eye candy down to play at native. For ram buy corsair 10yrs wrrty. so better resale value than other brands.

As for the UPS you've mentioned do not buy 550va it cannot take your computers load(under load). If you really need a ups you'll have to increase your budget. I would say leave the ups as of now, get a voltage stabilizer if the sole purpose of your ups is voltage regulation.
 
^^ UPS is a necessity as he lives at Vasai and electricity keeps on going off every now n then.

How much did u get the Samsung B2030 for? its listed for 7050 at www.theitwares.com. if i can get it for 6300 then i cud possibly get the 650va APC.
 
you should not opt for UPS as it is not need in a city like mumbai

it is mostly need in areas where there is power fluctuation and regular load shedding

don't increase your budget by buying ups. just go for a normal surge protector
