or as members were ready to help..those who live in his locality.. ship the product to them and tell them to finish it in person for you..hope they can be of your help in this regard.
 
Hey Seshu, don't worry send the product if he does nt pay u back you will still have the proof as the receipt from courier guys. Even if he decides not to give or faces some problem i will try to go to his place to help out. :)
 
Sheshu if u can wait till end of this month then u can send me the product and I along with ankssss will personally go to his place and will have a face to face deal. What u say????

Guys, I know we are all thinking in a benevolent manner. But do not get involved in this personally. There is a high probability it might get dirty. Exercise caution, keep it online -- only.

The holier-than-thou attitude is of no good now. Its been 15 pages, and 3-4 posts by the seller. Need we say more, about trust and a chance to reciprocate. If the deal goes through clean, the ban can be lifted.

All members who posted in this thread, thanks for your time. Most of you jumped to a conclusion too soon, almost all were judgemental and some even thought they were smart enough. But the problem started with Seshu. He seemed to be a good guy so I did trade with him. I never told him that if the item will not work I will still not take it back. I requested him to first try Radio on MCE coz I never tried it. Despite this he tried all other apps than MCE. The delay in response to this thread or with PM to Seshu was all coz I cannot type nor my health is ok. But when ever I was in house, I used to reply. So all members thought delay is due to ""CONMAN syndrome"" and Uziel is a conman. 1-2 times I have PMed Seshu that reply will take time but he does not highlight the good points. I never thought members in TE would be so unprofessional and immatured. How cn u bounce back on a members reputation when you all are not involved and dont know any thing about the member. In this forum, you can check, I have only tried to help members in the technical field. How can you all curse me!!! How can you all be so untouched by my situation!!!

Anyways, lets not be bank in ourselves, Whatever the actual time be, I will immediately credit Seshu account with money involved. See another false allegation, Seshu says, I had his account #, how the hell on earth I will have his acc no?? He never gave me, can you show a single PM/email mentioning yr account. And you thought it was another delay tactis!! I think Seshu told me that he is much more aged than me, it does not seems so here.

Mayank/Ankus, thanx for talking to me, but dont get involved to much dear. I will refund, dont take me as a professional conman. This world works on the principle of a invisible trust, so have trust on this.

@Sheshu ...plz dont try to be ignorant .... I checked 25th March messege, it just has a screenshot showing Processing successful. It does have yr acc no but it never says whats yr email ID and the Bank Acc holders name as D_Nxxxxxxu. You gave that to me for yr ease, officiaally you never gave me yr acc no, holders name etc. Why do you officially want to tarnish my image. I see some plot here. Any previous life enimity!!! Anywas, you must have got my PM, can you proceed please.

I had suffered both mentally & physically due to this deal .

I also had to spend extra amount for lawyer , shipping ...
 
Spending on Attorney/Police was at yr discretion, it was actually never required, you were not dealing with a goon/international killer or somewhat, I was just another simple TE member. Not only u, I have also suffured with all the comments that honourable TE members n U have posted but as its said n I quote ""For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness."" Well its all well when it ends well, dont worry you will be happy man once you get the amount. You dont need to get the package contents verified by anyone, I trust you as u had credited the amount earlier without even knowing me. Just send it as it is.

Again I would highlight that delay in replying in this thread is a secondary issue. The primary issue is your sale thread and what any potential buyer interpreted from it. The product you linked to in your thread should be able to work with at least some (if not all) of the apps seshu tried and the product you sent is obviously not working as expected. What you requested him to try first does not matter as long as it didn't work the way the product you linked to is expected to work. Any potential buyer on TE could have ended up where seshu is now with the way your sale thread is framed and that's why people feel justified in having a say even if you think they are being judgmental.

1. There is proof that a certain member reviewed an OEM product and made mention of how certain features are restricted compared to the retail version.

2. He creates a sale thread for the retail version of the product, provides a link to the retail version and then ships out an OEM product to the buyer.

3. He does not refund the money and take back the product when the buyer realizes that the product does not work with any of the apps he would like to use and instead tells the buyer that it should work with MCE only and see if it would work with MCE.

4. When the buyer starts a dispute thread. this member has enough time to taunt him immediately via PM, but for whatever reason does not post in the thread to clear his name and for weeks no less. He is yet known to be visiting the forum and reading the thread.

What would you think of such a member yourself? I mean How naive should a typical member be to still hope that the said member may have a perfectly valid and justifiable reason for his behavior. Who would have reasonably guessed that reason for the delay in replying was an illness. I mean there are other members on the forum who were sadly bedridden for a major part of their every day life due to illness, but still found ways to keep their commitments. Who could have known about your case. Again People can understand if the delay in replying was due to illness and no one thinks bad of you because of that, but then it does not have absolutely any bearing on the primary issue, that is creation of a misleading sale thread and not refunding the buyer promptly afterwards. If there were any trust issues, it was because for that reason only.

Had you accurately described the product in you sale thread and kept every thing transparent, all members would have been on your side and most likely there would not even have been a dispute in the first place.
 
@Lord Nemesis: You are still going in wrong track. I had no intensions to dupe anyone or conceal any fact. Plain n simple I wanted to sell something that was no more in use. Just for a simple reason that for Seshu this card in useless, I am taking it back. I will sell it to someone else mentioning this time that as per TE members, FM is not working and its an OEM card, no links provided. And please dont comment on someone illness. First of all you have no incurable life threatning illness so you dont know the pain involved. You take yr good health for granted I suppose. Have a heart for people who are not so fortunate. Comparing me with other members who are also bed ridden shows yr callousness. Even 2 people with same disease canot be compared. This is not a sales matter, its a matter of who lives n who not. Please refrain from commenting on these sensitive issues.

This, as everyone says, is a community not a flea market/chor bazaar where people are ready to just con everyone in sight. Trust other members to a extent, give chances to people who tries to amend their ways. Its just good will.

Please make this matter finished as possible. agreed both of u went through some stuff. why not finish it asap? @OP will send it asap and u can credit the amount that day itself. Please ask someone and make them agree to to do it. as u cant. u will know it will reach u in 2 days max. so no need to delay the credit further. as u said u trust seshu enough that he will sent the tuner as u sent.
 
@ Uziel: Hey hw ru doin? Me & Mayank are just trying to help out you & Seshu to clear out the things & facilitate in between, if there is any hiccup. Even when I talked to you I never told you that you are a conman, I asked you to come on TE & post your views to clear out the things & sort out the matter so no one should suffer.
 
My bank still says Pending for Authorization so cant credit back the amount .... I will have to wait for Banks action. Mayank/Ankush, thanks for yr time and effort. There is no issue between me and Seshu, he is a Good man ... all is clear now.

I paid Mr Uziel Rs 2400/- & expecting back Rs 2300/-

I am glad this is getting sorted out.

I have been closely watching on this thread but never bothered to post. But i guess its time for me to point out a few loopholes from this whole issue.

Firstly this thread should be a message to all prospective buyers and sellers involved while trading online especially on TE where trading purely happens based on trust. This is not a situation anyone would want. Maybe a few people have selfish intentions or maybe they just do it thinking they will get away with it. But the fact of the matter remains that apart from hurting the opposite person, u urself tend to lose a lot in the process. TE as a site has opened many of ours eyes to technology for sure and by having a market section, it surely is making it affordable for a person to have a piece of it too. By getting banned or by losing reputation u sure are closing those doors and losing much more than what u deserved. In short we need to build our trust and maintain it and that is how we can grow as a community. If these sort of things happen then m sure market will be history. The person has not just deprived an entire community but himself too of things which he/she might have to buy for a higher price outside TE. That said, to avoid such embarrassing and hurtful situations there are a few guidelines which needs to be reiterated for all sellers & buyers,

Sellers:

-Give all possible relevant data of the item ur selling. If there is lack of data available plz specify it so on the sale thread itself.

-Posting pictures possibly from all angles of the item will help in determining the condition of the item.

-If there is a website for the item then please redirect the buyer to the same and ask him/her to get info from there. If after all this the buyer has accepted that the product is what he wants, then go ahead with the sale. Personal warranty would add to the authenticity of the claims of ur item.

Buyers:

-Please know your requirements beforehand. You don't have to jump to close a deal just because the item is going out cheap.

-If the seller is out of info about the product then it becomes ur responsibility to determine of the item is what ur looking for. Do a thorough research of the item.

-If a personal warranty is given then take it to ur advantage but don misuse it. It would be good to keep the seller in the loop too.

Very imp.: Document and save all ur conversations. try and make ur conversation as far as possible through PM's.

I am not posting to show my biasedness to the buyer or seller concerned in this thread but did because i feel this happened due to lack of transparency and hastiness.
