Issues with Samsung Focus

I bought a Samsung Focus off Ebay.in. Upgraded it to 7.10.7720.68

I have a few issues that I cant seem to go around.

1. When I am talking on the phone, mute/speaker/ hold buttons get pressed accidentally. I think I have set the Proximity sensor to 75 through the Diagnosis mode. Any way to solve this?

2. Is there any alternative to Zune software?Zune just sucks. Not at all user friendly. Adding songs and videos and making playlists to your phone is a big task there.

3. How can I apply an mp3 song that I have my phone as my ringtone?

4. How can I switch between 3G and GPRS? I have added airtelgprs.com in apn settings. But that about it.

I'll answer what I know -

1. Accidental pressing of buttons happens all the time on my HD7 too. Especially when I'm talking for a longer duration and take the phone far enough from my face to confuse the proximity sensor. No clue on how to change the setting.

2. No alternative. I would suggest spending some time with it and try to work with it rather than against it. It is not as big as a PITA as iTunes is. It grows on you. :P

4. AFAIK, you cannot switch between 3G and Edge in Samsung Focus. They have not included the ability to do so. It's only Data Connection ON or OFF.

Thanks for the ringtone. shall check it out. But as far as the buttons being pressed accidentally, the screen gets activated though the proximity sensor is supposed to disable the screen. Thats the problem., Dont know who to fix it.

You misunderstood it. In fact this is the same solution for Samsung Focus too, and I tried this on focus only. I don't own an omnia.
