My brother uses a samsung infuse and the phone is causing problems at the moment. He says it started after he once connected the phone to his friend's PC. He suspects a virus but i am pretty sure a PC virus cannot affect a phone. I had recently updated the phone from froyo to GB through official Kies Mini software. He had faced some issues even after that upgrade.
He says that the phone is randomly restarting and as it is is starting it restarts again, i mean it does not give him the opportunity to go to main home screen. It does work some time though.
Now since i do not have the phone in front of me so i do not know what the issue exactly is or cannot see this happening myself so i am going along with what he is saying.
He even did a factory reset from phone itself (i guess) and still it reboots randomly. What might be the issue and how can we try resolving it ?
I will add more information here if and when i get the phone in my hand to check and see the issue myself.
