No, I meant the developer interview that you posted.
How can a user-review of DX1 be biased when it was the first of its kind and was hardly hyped at all? It can't just be bias that it's considered one of the best games ever made without anything to show for it.
Infact even fans of the original trashed the sequel.

Believe me DX2 was horrible. If it proves anything, Ion torm had to shut down after that disaster.
 
A Walkthrough is a step by step guide published by anyone. Usually by gaming sites like gamespot, IGN, etc....

Coz sometime you dont know what to do next or maybe one particular mission is too hard. A Walkthrough will guide what to do step by step. What is there behind that door. What to expect after you kill that monster, etc.... It also gives some helpful tips on how to beat some of the tougher parts of the game.
 
lol, wit de kinda games comin up, ppl shd know wat a walkthru means, ne way leave dat, im excited, I loved SS II, im glad anothr game similar, i mean better dan dat, n de name too sounds pretty "watevr", dint get de word, ne way, waiting for it.
 
I am gonna play it too, never played it before. Always thought Undying was scarier, but most people think otherwise...

Play it with the System Shock Rebirth pack.
It replaces most of the lame pointy character meshes with high-quality ones using much better skins.

Playing Thief 3 right now with the hi-res texture updates that replace all the Xbox-ified textures.
Best game of 2004, definitely better at stealth than the Splinter Cell games.
Now I know why Deus Ex 2 sucked, Ion Storm were making this gem alongside it.

btw the last page of those BioShock scans hints at various 'streamlining' changes. Downfall?
 
^^I hope irrational doesnt make the same mistake that Warren Spector did and had to apologise later in public for. Dumbing it down for consoles ain't cool :@
 
System Shock II was thrillin, well, lol, h8 2 admit, it was SCARY, I used 2 play in de nites, somtimz, i start 2 hallucinate, lol, but still, i lov 2 play such games,
 
System Shock 2 is freaking awesome, its interface is a la deus ex. And who said PDA was an intro by Doom 3.

Amazing.
 
Also, it turns out that EA themselves are making a System Shock 3 as well, so we can expect not one but two successors to System Shock 2.

yup completely agree with u although played the game some 5 years back but tht was one awesome game... if they remake it with a better graphics and lil additional story (maybe a small link between deus ex 1 n 2) i ll replay it :lol:
 
Deus Ex also had that great soundtrack. The main theme is one of the most memorable sequences ever, right up there with Max Payne's dark cello binge.
 
i also played DEUS EX but got stuck at the first stage only :P after completing everything boss said go to the dock and get on the boat, and never got on that boat ever :P
any suggestions please.....

Played it years ago, but I think there's a small ladder on the dock leading into the water and from there you can simply swim to the boat.
