It's official: 3D is dead

There was a time when there were sparse 3D movies. At least in India. I believe Chota Chetan was also re-released right ?
But now each and every movie is like 3D. I watched Titanic in 3D couple of years back and there was nothing 3D in it. May be my vision is bad.
I wonder how many people who own 3D TVs actually use the 3D part.

Anyone who thinks 3d is dead, go and watch the trailer of the new Spiderman movie in 3d. Also the drifts in Need for Speed felt amazing just because of the 3d. I actually felt like I was inside the car and got as close an experience to real drifting as I could.

We all are clearly discussing 3D in home usage, not in cinemas. If any of you had actually bothered to read the OP, you would have known.

I am not sure that 3D is dead, but just been pushed to the sidelines. AFAIK, the next big thing is 4K.

Apparently we did read the OP, but a year ago and assumed this was about 3D in cinemas.

I tried watching 3D on my Plasma but I couldn't stand it for more than 10 minutes. I have read somewhere that the 3D in mkv rips is not as good as played from an original BluRay but don't know how much truth is in that statement.
