I know KMD's taking his cut and I've no problem with it, just wanted to know the reason as to why u said dollar price to 50.5 :cool2:

then it comes to 50.5*1200= 60600 just 5k less :huh: :(
 
ahh.. what exactly were you expecting? they've slashed only the sales tax for NY. its not like they've decided to give free and margin free shipping to India

thats how much he charged extra as NY tax, did you expect a 25k drop????? Ask the buyer, he will be happy even with a 5k drop if he is serisously interested in buying.....

And not to mention the 20~35% customs duties involved.
 
But presume he also has a threshold limit (Lower) below which it the rates are difficult to understand (No offence meant saar :)) Like a 42$ Saitek Eclipse is Rs. 3200 :P

he needs to consider the weight of the product as well...you cannot expect a 10$ PSU to be Rs. 500 so to say.

I've mentioned the product above :P This is not an isolated case as well which is exactly why I have mentioned that he has a lower threshold. 4~5 fans totalling to 40$ was also quoted 3200.
 
yes...ppl who order frequently enuf frm KMD know that. Orders below 30-40$ have a min threshold as he has to mantain his min margin as well :)

So say even if u order a 40$ 8GB micro SD card which heighs like 50-100 gm along with packing will still come to 2.5k or more :P
 
You all are forgetting why we entrust the services of KMD, to get the premium product from US that is not available here or is at a much higher price like the Laptop I'm about to order, the same config is for around 80K by Acer and the price of 65K was no problem for me either. Its a Win-Win situation for botht he parties, unless u r a real Baniya and don't want to part away with ur money so easily. :rofl:

ur case its a 15k less na acer one rit ..so prob nahi hai bt its nt same for all products na ...:huh: :no: :S
 
guys guys....lemme make it clear...so all i hav to do is multiply the $ with 50.5 to get a rough estimate of KMD's quote??...or ny surplus charges also will be added??.
 
there is no conversion rate

the conversion depends on size and weight of the product because it has to be shipped from the US to this place and he usually overnights the stuff to india
