IXUS 110IS costlier than IXUS 120IS and IXUS 130IS??

I recently bought a Canon 1000D which obviously doesn't have video recording, and it's a bit big also to carry around.

So I was looking for a compact camera which can shoot 720p HD videos :)

So quickly looked all Canon IXUS 1xxIS and guess what found this

Just look at their price :S

Canon IXUS 110IS released on 18th Feb 2009, Price INR 18,995.00

Canon IXUS 120IS released on 19th Aug 2009, Price INR 12,495.00

Canon IXUS 130IS released on 08th Feb 2010, Price INR 14,995.00

Now what Canon IXUS 110IS has which makes it so costlier comparing the other two :S

Comparison page shows everything same :S

Anyone can throw some light on this :)
 
Well it doesn't make much sense but I have checked th details and I suggest that you get the 130IS. let the rates be what they are.
 
Well i guess they are getting cheaper,the 130IS is using the sony sensor found in their W350.The 110 and 120is also use the same or similar sensors found in other sony cameras
Lately many manufactures from canon,nikon,fuji,ricoh,casio,apple have started to use sony sensors,i guess they are cheap.
The only time that i am aware that canon as used their own sensor in point and shoot ,prosumer cameras was in the canon SX1.
 
I'm not saying I'm buying IXUS 110IS.

I'm just trying to figure out why IXUS 110IS is costlier than other two??

Just checked the prices on eBay, and there also prices are 17.5k, 12k, 14.5k resp :S

So there has to be something with IXUS 110IS to make it so pricey. :P
 
Well only canon can answer why its cheaper but for example in sony lcds the last year models are more expensive then this year models same case with many other manufactures ,due to cost of lcds panels and other components getting cheaper.
also notice the 110IS uses a slighlty bigger screen(with the added info "Pure Color LCD monitor II") and is also heavier of the lot.
Best to check them out in person.

Ok, what if I'm offered an IXUS 110IS for 9k instead of 17.5k and other two at same price i.e. 12k and 14.5k, which one to choose now??

How is the IQ of IXUS 110IS comparing the other two?

How is the IXUS 110IS for 9k in first place??
