EDIT: Found this on rediff

Shop Online; Gift in India: ,  NEW JABRA JX10 Wireless Bluetooth Headset JX-10,  Electronics,  Mobile Phones,  Accessories,  Handsfree Buy mobile phones, Gift Flowers, Buy Indian Apparel, Buy Books in India, Buy Cameras

How reliable is rediff online shopping?

Do not shop with rediff, I have got bad experience with them. They wont even respond to your mail immediately and properly, thats the bad part.

Jabra Distributor for India is in Bangalore only. You can find their address and telephone number in their website. Call them and ask.

I bought the Jawbone BT headset. It is currently the best BT headset available. Check out the reviews. Just google for Jawbone

I ordered the Silver headset and should be recieveing it in a few days. If you are interested I could sell it to you. It is brand new. A friend of mine picked up another headset without my knowledge, so this is just going to be an extra.

Lemme know if you are interested. I was thinking of putting it up for sale in the Market section.

did you buy jabra BT headset? Please post feed back. I am also looking to buy one headset from jabra.

I did not buy jabra as most of the users were complaining of the headset falling out. I am right now looking for plantronics BT headsets.

yeah, I went through the same thing with BT headsets.

On one side it had to look absolutely fantastic. It also had to be really tiny and preferably one that I could use without an earloop. Then comes talktime and clarity.

I looked at all the Jabras and only 2 were noteworthy. BT800 with caller ID system which really is no use because it doesnt work the way you'd expect it to and plus its gigantic and weighs about 25 grams. JX10 is really small and has really good talktime plus it features good sound clarity and volume but its really quite old and has been around for a while and is quite pricey.

Then I looked at the Motorola H700 which is also a popular headset but still a lil too bulky and fat for me.

Then came Plantronics 655 and 665 both of which are quite small and come with a pocket pen style battery charger. The down side is it has shit talktime not exceeding 3 hours on one charge. Also, users complain that the audio isnt too great either.

At this point I had kind of given up hope and decided i'd go for the JX10 which is the best of the lot when I heard about the Jawbone. I did my research and it turns out that it is the most advanced headset available and uses cutting edge noice cancellation technology. They've taken noise cancellation to a whole new level. Check out the reviews online. Infact CNET has awarded the Jawbone headset the highest points for a BT headset ever. A lot of my friends who use PPC's in the states say its fantastic. I can't wait for it to get here.

Jawbone is good in noise cancellation but its a bit big at 19gms. I would not mind buying it if I could get it locally :)

Hey I asked what is the price of Jawbone???

It's $120. Add another $50 for shipping to India. I'm willing to sell mine for $150 inclusive of shipping if anybody here is interested.

@mods... didn't mean to conduct my business here. In the course of talking about the product, I just ended up mentioning it. No further stray off from the topic. I'll start a thread for it in the market section.

50 $ to ship such a small piece of electronics?? oh my god its Rs. 2200, for that money alone we can buy a decent BT headset here.

Well that's what they charge on the Jawbone website to ship it to India. Again, this is a premium headset and not some run of the mill headset you can procure locally. If you want quality, this is it.

run of the mill or premium, the shipping are will never change dude. Jawbone is charging too much on shipping.

Run of the mill BT HS we can get for 1000 rs here.

LOL... Well it costs my office nothing less than $20-25 just to send paper documents over to the states. Given that this is a slightly bulky package, I guess $50 is not that out there. I think they ship via DHL. Anyways.... this is goin OT. Back to Jabra JX10
