  • Product Name: Motorola Xoom 32GB Wifi +3G plus Motorola original smart cover plus linksys wifi router (running DD-WRT)
  • Expected Price: Rs 11000
  • Shipping charges: pickup
  • Manufacturer page URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorola_Xoom
  • Description if any:
This is a 10.1 inch Gorilla Glass Motorola Xoom (code named: MZ601/Everest on XDA - http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=945) with 32GB memory and Wifi+3G (with a legal IMEI number).
This has been jailbroken is running Cyanogenmod 10.1 (Android 4.2.2). The MRP is 41,500/- and I bought it from Flipkart in a special deal. Similarly specced (10.1 inch 1280X800 screens and wifi+3g) currently cost almost 40-45K on Flipkart. It has pretty great battery life (as shown in the pic)

This tablet comes in its original packing (looks brand new - oh yes!) and is extremely well maintained. It was owned by my father, who figured out that he wasnt qualified to use tablets. I already own a tablet and so this is redundant for me.
This comes with its charger as well as a separately bought Motorola original smart cover (that you can use as a tablet stand in a coffee shop) worth about 2K. What I'm not including is a microUSB cable (which I lost) - and which is pretty commonplace anyway :D

The tablet can play movies on your TV using a micro-HDMI cable (search on youtube) as well is pretty effective in gaming. On XDA forums, the tablet is being used effectively with the new Chromecast to stream movies to your HDTV (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45766565). It also has a 5MP HD video camera as well as front camera.

My father also realized he does not need to use wifi in his house, so I'm throwing in a Linksys Wireless-N router WRT54G2 V8 running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (SVN revision 19519). This router is therefore protected against the milw0rm exploit.

  • Reason for Sale: Raising money to buy laptops for a startup I'm doing.
  • Product condition: I would say 8-9 out of 10. There is a slight scratch near the top of the tablet on the backside (concealed by the cover), but am declaring it.
  • Purchase Date: 2012
  • Remaining Warranty period: none
  • Warranty available in: none
  • Invoice Available: Flipkart online invoice #20120108D1001162
  • Shipping from: Delhi/NCR
  • Shipping to: Local buyer
  • Preferred courier: pickup
  • Payment options: Cash

One last thing - if you have been a member with atleast 1 year and/or 100 posts, you can come over and use the tablet (at any mutually designated location) BEFORE you make a purchase decision. No questions asked walk away.
