CPU/Mobo Jetway 790GX IGP dead. What now ?

Yes, the first thing I did was BIOS reset. Actually I was getting an impression that it might be a conflict due to unlocking but then even with normal configuration it used to show up the weird screen.

Earlier the issue i was predicting was right. I got 2 Gb XMS from my cousin and it showed the same problem. Anyways had sent the MB and they accepted for RMA, the only issue is that they are asking me to wait for a week which is not feasible for me.

I asked them to give me an alternative and even charge the remaining but they said it will only be done after clearing :@ Am without a system atm. what should I do ? Buy a new Mb or wait for it ?
 
Rashi's "one week" usually means "three", atleast in my city. If you do give it for RMA, make it perfectly clear right now that if at all they take more than a week, you'll be compensated with a replacement or a standby for any delay incurred.
 
Its been >3 weeks and I haven't got the baord. They said they have "repaired" the board and the shipment was sent on 24th from Mumbai and should reach by monday. I hope the board works since Sangram board too didn't worked after getting repaired, anyway will sell the board sooner or later, the only thing keeping me from buying the board is the Am3+ socket.
 
I think I have the same board, mine died too. I had to wait close to a month for a replacement piece, in the meanwhile I bought a cheapo Asus board for 2.2k. I got the replacement in a month, and in a weeks time the Asus board died :P, however the Asus replacement arrived in a weeks time (thanks to Prime). Howver on my Jetway the IGP was not the issue, the board suddenly stopped powering up. Jetway's RMA have this awful policy that they will not take boards which have a little bit of corrosion, I was pretty pissed and fired the guys stating they should not sell the boards in coastal cities...
 
as you said you IGP is flickering.
IGP uses shared memory with your ram. So after you tested on the Ati gpu was everything damn ok? Did u game for atleast 1/2hr & tested the system doing other things?

I never liked Jetway:P had a horrible experience with nvidia chipset based board. Well Ludhiana Rashi people were very nice, on my RMA request they replaced Jetway with ASUS within promised 15 days. Near about 5-6 years ago they replaced out of warranty(14 days over from date of import) socket 462 MB without any bill with a brand new piece in 10 days. What else one should expect as a service in Punjab area.
