Wow, they're even offering 1gb extra data on the 149 plan. One question, is this a one time thing or 1gb extra every month? And for how many months?

Also, is the extra data offer only if you buy whatever plan along with the 99 ka prime subscription or will you get the extra benefit even if you recharge at a later date than the prime recharge?

2GB with Jio Prime, 1GB without.

Also, they say that Jio Prime need not be done before 31st March, it will be extended till April end. No verified sources.

as per CC extra 1GB on 149/ and 5gb on 303/ is valid for recharges done before 31 march
Good way to luring customers

They're not just luring, they're trying to get as many long term commitments as possible so that customers don't easily jump to another operator.

So if i recharge say once for 149 before 31st, i'll get 1 gb extra, but if i do the next recharge sometime in april, i get only 2gb right?

Does the 50 cashback credit immediately to the a/c or does it take time?

So I've been looking to subscribe to Prime plus take the 303/- plan. There are lots of cashback offers going on. Can you folks tell which is the most cheapest option out there? Also, has there been any new updates on those free night hours usage?

Correct me if I'm wrong but to get the number enabled for "Jio Prime" one needs to do two recharges: 99 and 303rs/499rs? or can one simply do either 303 or 499 (aware that benefits are different).
Asking this coz currently using Jio and in my location its more like 2.5G-3G at best so I'm trying to see if it will be worth it. Idea and Airtel are much faster. If the latter two have better benefits I'll move to them.

99 is for enabling jio prime.

99 + 303 -> Gives you 28gb(1gb per day) + additional 5 GB in as an addon
303 only -> Gives you only 2.5 gb per month

Airtel has a 1GB/day for both new and existing customers. Till a few days ago the 1GB breakdown was 500MB day and 500MB night. Night time was actually only a few hours from 2AM-5AM something. I don't remember it clearly.
However local Airtel rep told me that its been changed to full 24hrs. No day and night division. Can someone confirm?
If its true I will do the 341rs something recharge for my existing Airtel number.

Yes, I can confirm, I've recharged with ₹345/- and I'm getting true 1GB 4G data without any division of day/night.

An update for call forwarding
Tried 2/3 different handsets, again same error as everyone above
The solution is
Try these codes

They didn't work for me
My solution
Disable VOLTE on existing set
Sets have a tab /switch to enable SMART CALLING /HD CALLING /VOLTE
whatever it's called on your set
Now data would be working
Download Jio4gvoice
Activate it
Use the codes to activate whichever code you like . The reply would come in English, Hindi & local language of the state SIM belongs to
I have activated No Response & Not Reachable
Check it out by disabling Jio4gvoice app
Uninstall Jio4gvoice after confirmation
Enable volte again on headset
Now call forwarding works 100%

^^ thanks for the info man, but i'm not gonna through all that trouble to activate forwarding, as it's not that critical for me. Volte or no volte, these people all need to standardize their sh!t...

Edit: It worked! I just dialed *409*number and it activated call forwarding. I didn't have to disable volte or install jio4gvoice. On both my redmis (3sp & 2p). I think it's a problem with the OS not being able to handle the jio sims for some reason. It cant read the forwarding page info or modify/update it.

thats why i wrote first to try the codes . Didint work for me but these are the actual USSD codes for call forwarding

^^ lol when you said didn't work for me, i thought they will only work on the app after disabling volte.

Since they're working directly it's most probably an issue with the miui settings, i haven't updated my os to marshmallow, maybe it's fixed in that...
