there is not too much price drop on C2Ds on July 22nd. Most of the current models, specially 6600 will mostly be phased out and replaced by new models on July 22nd. its the quads thats gonna take huge drop on 22nd july.
 
Yea, the G0 Stepping E6850, E6750, E6550 are going to replace the current line-up.

There may be a C2D price cut on July 22nd, indirectly. If the cheapest 1333MHz C2D is priced at $163 and the most costly 800MHz C2D is priced at $133, then the e6300, e6320, e6400 & e6420 ( till the stocks run out ) will fall between that range.

The e4300 should be less than $113.

But then again, C2D prices don't always seem to be logical. e6300 & e6320 cost the same. the e6420 is 1$ cheaper than the e6400.

i using A3000+ then came X2 & P-D, then came C2D & its models are also getting phased out..! :O

tech is too fast for me to adapt..:(
 
^^ Well C2D is here to stay atleast till next year when Nehalem is relaesed next yr...

p3->p4->pentiumD->core duo->core2 duo->quad core...

I belong to the jurassic era when dinosaurs still roamed the earth :hap2:
 
well i own a 3500+, so not far behind.......might shift to c2d or quad in august..lesse.......and i hope the 2nd price cut in sept doesnt hold me down...lol
