k800i won't start up.

Hi, my k800i wont start up. When I try to start it up, all I get is a white screen for a second or so, followed by the SE startup logo, & a white screen again for a brief instant before the phone goes dead.

What could be the possible cause? What troubleshooting or repairs, if any, is possible at home? Or is it simply a case of handing over the piece to a pro for repairs?

ur firmware got kaput , get it updated by software , just charge it for 3-4 hours and do online update , i guess u will b fine ,all d best
 
so I should be usin the se update service? se tools the same?

tried the se update service.

it says that phone's already got the latest software. so now what?
