It doesn't matter whether you play Call Of Duty, Counter Strike whatever.. Contra pwns all.. :P

I still remember my childhood (though I'm still not old yet), when I used to play this game for countless hours.. This was the first game which I had ever played. I still have that Video Game and all the cassettes.. :D

The music of this game were awesome..

How come I have never seen this game available for PC. Seen people play prince and dave and mario but never contra.

So true. I still have these games on my system via emulation. Contra was succeeded by Super C. Loved these games. Mario 1,2,3. Contra series, Kung-Fu (with the knife throwing baddies), Castlevania, Bomber Man. In the local coin-slot parlors Contra was known as 'Rambo'. Due to the uncanny resemblance of Stallone to the blue haired character. Though which one is Mad Dog, and who is Scorpion of the two...?

remember those cartridges. I had the game console bought for like 900 rupees long time back. Also played duck hunt. Still have no clue how that game worked when we used to point the gun to screen and shoot the ducks :S

Played Dave, hocus pocus (got free in floppy when we took a 10 pack Sony 1.44" floppy set) :)

The first sort of 3D game i had played for Wolf 3D :)
 
I owe my 'gaming bug' and 'spectacles' to the NES (Samurai in India). Those cartridges were so huge, and so allergic to dust. Keep blowing on exposed contact rail.

Ah, the good old days of console gaming! :)

Mine(TV Video game) looked like a Playstation, only it was called "Polystation" 64. :P
 
30 lives in contra: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A , Select, Start (2 players , 30 lives each)

I used to play super mario 3 for 8 hrs non stop as u couldn't save ur game and the fuking games had 8 worlds and each world had some 30 stages:)

Remeber ZELDA as the first game that came out where I could save my progress:)...it was a golden color disc and costed me 3k for one single game way back in 1990-92 don't remember:)
 
It's just 2 old games I liked most, Wolf 3d(What a game it was - used to spent my whole summer holiday playing this game only again and again :D) and Road Rash(for kicking A$$es of opponents -superb game, the only racing game I played). I used to play contra and mario too but they get boring because u have to play same stage again when dieing without completing(no savegame). Later I got so addictive Duke Nukem 3D(crazy dialogues-wow) and AOE2(the only best strategy game till date).
 
I still remember, I never got the princess in Mario :( Contra was an awesome experience, simply rocking. So was Pac Man.

PS: Are these games available on any consoles (XBOX, PSP,WII)?

Pac-Man doesn’t end. A bug at the 256th level makes it impossible to keep playing.

When you get to the 256th level on the arcade version of Pac-Man, the game tries to draw 256 pieces of fruit (beyond the normal limit of 7 fruit). Then the bottom of the screen gets corrupted and the right half of the maze because a great big mess of numbers and symbols, making the game completely unplayable.

I've played it for hours and hours.. along with contra, street fighter and Kof
