Hi Team,

I am looking to buy some Kaput LCD TFT Monitors (Quote Company name as well) for some R&D stuff. LCD Should not be physically damaged.

bro... i don't think you'll get offers cos lcds are quite new and they give 5 years warranty with it... very few ppl might sell it.

Bhai... Usually lcds were coming with 3 year warranty, 5 year warranty popped up some time back only. So chances are there people will have Kaput LCD with good LCD panels but bad inverter power supply, bad High Voltage Cards or bad Circuit boards which usually cost high for older LCDs. i.e. In short LCD is physically Ok but not working or no display is there.

I am targeting to get hold of those LCDs !!

Can you give exact monitor's model no. so as I can workout for alternate LCDs as well. Also, If you can get me the quote you might had received from Service Center then it will be great to bargain from one.

Thanks Ashish. The LG 15" monitor model is LG L1552S.

The LCD panel part number is LP150X08 (TL) (A1)
and it has a 20 pin LVDS connector. Some
versions of LP150X08 have 30 pins, which is not suitable
here. The panel is 15" (square, not widescreen)
and res is XGA - 1024x768
