Kindly suggest a pdf maker app for android ios more than 40 pages

You mean shoot individual pages and then merge all into a PDF document ?

With iOS, if you are taking pics / scanning documents with mobile camera, use the notes app which comes in iOS and you the scan document feature and you can create the PDF without any extra app.

We use that on almost daily basis for submitting my son's homework and exam papers and such.

Microsoft lens does the trick.
Though being 30 pages it allows only pdf and not word or power point, not that it matters to me but thought of letting you folks know.

If is handwritten pages you are scanning, Adobe Scan is a great app. It allows you to adjust page margins after pic is taken, and also has best processing options.
