KM player HD playback problem

For testing, try using something like media player classic. Set performance mode and then check for stuttering. Basically to check if problem is with pc or kmplayer specifically :) also, wats CPU usage when this happens?

The usage is 40% avg wen on high quality and charging is on..

While the video is running, i remove the charger and it comes to 50and then fluctuates..for 25-55..keeps stuttering..else the stutter on charging was limited to 4-5 in one min on charging..

hmm..okie..which build you suggest of media player classic??

on performance mode, charging or not shouldnt make a diff. have you done some extensive modifications to the profiles? try resetting the performance one to default and then using it?

Latest build? I m not that big a media player classic expert :ashamed:

The changes i made make the powersaver=High performance(ie, makes the powersaver profile not save power haha), except for a few battery warning changes and all..Even then after resetting the high performance profile, the playback is stuttering..:@
Also, as chaos recommended, i hav turned off the speedstep and max and min cpu is now 100%..So now it cant downclock too..
CAn this be a driver problem??

I tried laptopvideo2go drivers, then downloaded the latest beta drivers(one which has a thread here) form nvidia and used mobility modder to make them install on my system, cause dell brands the gpu and so the nvidia setup cant recognise it..

Still no go..
Or is this a battery problem??:@

prob not a battery issue i would say.

@alsi..yeah tried..not working.
told you that day itself..

Okie..but seem lik a battery prob to me..Except for low charge, what other problems can a battery develope??

^And what abt the quality??

if you are gonna try and improve quality of HD material using software processing then your poor lappie is gonna suck big time:tongue: ( infact most desktops processors would be inadequate for that purpose )

U can use hardware processing of your gpu though, but that would also work in superspeed mode only :rofl:

There are people here who use onbaord graphics in the high performance mode and still have no problem..
As for my laptop, it had no problem playing HD at high quality til some time ago..Just since the last month or more im seeing this problem..:@

Run some CPU, HD & GPU benchmarks. Lets see if they are working to their full potential first of all..

Do you have that 7zip benchmark we did some months back? Or you could take the reference from other members.

@Udit--I have done that and even switched from 32 bit to 64..no go..
Ofcourse i didnt format the whole hdd..Dont have spare space..

@alsi..Wil try wen we chat..

Also, When its playing, there isnt much hdd usage, so i think v can rule out the hdd problem cant v??
