Korean Drama Series Discuss

Some Korean movies are awesome, especially thrillers. I was in fact introduced to Korean content via their thrillers only. It was these movies that created global interet in Korean content. Web series and all came much later after penetration of OTT.

I made a list of some movies awhile ago, check it out.

Watched the following K-Series in Netflix
  • Hellbound - Pretty gripping and a must watch.
  • All of us are dead - Starts nice but after some episodes became repetitive, but worth the watch to know the ending.
Korean Movies that I loved recently
  • Along with the Gods: Two worlds
  • Along with the Gods: The last 49 days

Many teenagers these days are hooked to korean series. Wondering from where did this trend came to India?
I noticed people talking about K-dramas here like over five years ago and could not understand why

I happened to catch some YT channel doing summaries of these series and one looked interesting. It was a school that had a janitor from the north that was a nuclear scientist and this guy would go about solving the equations the professors posted on the board during his cleaning rounds. One kid catches him and wants him to tutor him.

Would like to catch this documentary when it becomes available

it would be great if you add OTT platform as well with TV series names, easier to find for others

I watched it yesterday. "In our prime", a mathematician NK defector working as a security guard. It was a pretty good watch that I could relate to. I felt I would've liked Math more if I'd been taught like he did by explaining underlying concepts but unfortunately my teachers were more like the Math teacher who was teaching from test perspective.

these 3 available on netflix and in Hindi
Its Okay to Not Be Okay
Extraordinary Attorney Woo
A Business Proposal

Finished watching "Alice in Borderlands". I liked it. It is very similar to "Squid Game". Many twists and turns, but quite graphic too.
Not linking Imdb page, since there is a spoiler in the description

Yes.. BTS is on every teens mind..wonder from where this wave came from in India..
It's setting unrealistic beauty standards here in india because an average in Indian guy has round face, pot belly, blunt nose, and ofc dark skin. Girls should not waste time to find the korean guys here
