I am quite happy with HDFC till now. Till now have not had to visit branch for anything related to savings account.
But they did make me run around a bit when I wanted to close the Demat account. Apparently Demat account can be opened by most branches but for closing the Demat account, you have to visit specific branches only.
But overall, I am happy with HDFC. In their ATM's, they have posters which state that per month, 5 withdrawals can be made from other bank ATM's for free for salary accounts. But I don't think I have been charged yet. Use the ATM quite less though.
