^^ it seems Duke 200 already has a waiting list of 3 months!! when are you expecting the actual delivery?

#Sunny27- Pune's Probiking showroom is also renamed as KTM. Really did not understand the move in change of name of the stores

You have to consider the maintenance costs too.As far as I know the tyres itself will cost more than 8000/ Sent from my MB855

Bajaj rips off Ninja owners when it comes to tyres... The stock Ninja IRC tyres cost around 4k-3k (Rear and front), Bajaj charge rediculous 11k for rear tyre !! I feel they will do the same with KTM

I can go and get me tyres from some other tyre store. And I don't think there's anything wrong with the current set of tyres. You look at changing tyres after 15000 km. As for maintainence its a Bajaj bike servicing it won't be any more expensive than a Pulsar 220 I think. reading reviews of KTM bikes and they are pretty much reliable. KTM makes bikes which routinely monster the Paris Dakar Rally. So reliability will not be an issue. As for the build quality - I found it to be top notch. I pay far more attention to the build quality and overall longevity of any product I own - case in point my thinkpad and the motorola defy.

Posted on other forum few days back.

"TD the Ninja 250 and Duke 200 back to back today. Got disappointed buzzy engine of Ninja, was expecting more from all the hype. Didnt felt much powerful and ergonomics were also bad(its a personal thing). The moment i got on Duke 200 i had a big grin on my face. It feels much faster than Ninja, there is little thumping vibration on the bike but it isnt irritating and does not increase with rpm. It revs like crazy, i hit the rev limiter 4-5 times in 1st and 2nd gear. There is no power drop and the rev limiter cuts in. I think engine can rev upto 12k easily. After the hard riding fuel consumption was shown 31kmpl."

Ahmedabad 1.3 Lakhs.

This is the brochure they gave me:-

I shall also put up a first impressions post about the bike. I have taken 3 test rides over as many days to get a proper feel of the bike.
