Dexter!!!

no!! i am NOT talking about the lil kid with glasses that runs abt shouting DeeeDeee...

Dexter the TV series is a show about a Miami PD Forensics Expert with a very very dark secret :D

the show is absolutely gripping. its run for 2 seasons as of now and is most prolly gonna go into a 3rd season too.
 
In my opinion, by the time it reaches Season 3, LOST has lost track of the story and thy're just dragging it, at least the beginning of S3 seemed like it, if it gets any better according to u guys, I will watch it, I really like S1 n S2 though....
 
Best comedy: would have to be Scrubs. Even the big bang theory is pretty decent.

New Amsterdam is good, Chuck on the other hand is awesome. I found Lost a lil stupid saw two episodes and gave up...

If you have the time and like sci-fi give Stargate series a watch.. I simply loved it...
 
I didnt like Chuck...It was too childish..

New Amsterdam is interesting i hope they dont cancel the show..

I think LOST is only series around with so many episodes and they know where exactly they are going. S03 finale was mind blowing. one of the best episode I've seen for any series.

The speed may be slow coz they put in too much time in character building. Still its a very well thought out story...first 3 seasons had questions....last 3 are about answers. They have things planned out for each episode in next two years. What more one can plan for.

Prison Break S03 was big drag. It should have ended in season 2. Heroes and dexter are much smaller compared to Lost.

However Dexter is in a different league :D
 
I actually like Prison Break 3

season1 : 9/10 ---- Many say the best that Television ever featured.

season2 : 8.5/10

season3 : 7.5/10
 
watched season 1 of lost..

loved it.

started watching season 2 of lost..

started to hate it..

half way through.. i was done with it. life couldnt get worse.. it was agonizingly slow.

Dexter...!! now thats a show... felt bad that michael hall couldnt convert any of his emmy nominations into awards. he is a brilliant actor. ive read the novel too and its the screen adaptation is just mindblowing.

Great Summary for both of the shows. Definitely Prison Break is in a league of its own. Nothing like that has ever been shown on the tube. Much I thought never will. Although I think I might have said that too soon, I However request you to take a peek at a show called "Dexter" (Which I am sure most of you fanatics on this forum would be aware of). This again has a backdrop of crime, brutality, justification et all.. Best part this ain't strected - Season 1 & 2 are both 12 ep's each. Really tight. I am sure you'll love it. Its the next thing for PB fans..

Suggestion - LOST too is worth every bit, get a hold of it incase you haven't.

P.S: Arya deserves all credit for getting me hooked both these shows !

Its a show you need to follow the story, have patience and go with it. Its really brilliant the way they have thought out so many things.

It does get better in S4. MUCH better imo. S3 beginning was sorta boring agreed..
 
Lost has become amazing in season 4. It has picked up in terms of storyline... And season 3 season finale was the best EPISODE ever... It just blew my mind...
 
I am sure prison break will get interesting now.

Scoffield vs Gretchen .. there is going to be a lot of action

There is no conenction betn writers strike and LOST S3 :hap5:

Writers strike started on November 5, 2007 and concluded on February 12, 2008.

Lost S3 ended in May-June 07 ;)
 
Well... I started wating LOST last week and i am already in the middle of Seasone 3... Yes its a good sereis and yes it has flaws... But come on... The thing is that it is gripping...

Also started watching Prision break and damm its good... I am about to finish seasone 1...

Last but not the least How i met your mother is awasome series as well... A must watch... And as somebody mentioned earlier the best as of now on TV... But... Yes there is a but... You guys should check out The Big Bang Theory as well... A must watch comedy for every geek around... I guess the only comedy whcih would be best understood by us geeks...

I would like to thank rPOK for forcing me see all of these :)
