Storage Solutions Lacie Drives has Samsung Drive inside

My 2.5" Lacie 250GB external drive has a Toshiba HDD inside. Regardless of whether they openly advertise it or not, you will always get to know what drive is used by having a quick look at Device Manager. Still its not as transperant as with Seagate or WD.

been around for quiet some time. Samsung just aint big in the Indian Market

The F1 is basically, the FIRST TB drive to come with just 3 platters.

Samsung basically withdrew from the Indian HDD market sometime back I guess. The F1 etc arent avl in India.
