LAN port not working after GPU install

Generally this means driver mismatch, your h/w is probably ok. Strange.

As others mentioned, a pic may help.
The GPU has two power connecters , I have attached two seperate power cables instead of one split cable with two connectors.

I also had to install the WiFi pcie adaptor to the second pcie slot from the mini pcie slot because the GPU was covering the mini slot. Could this have caused a conflict or pcie lane issue which shut down the LAN port?
I have removed the PCIe wifi card, and replaced the old nvidia card, still same issue

Go through the posts of everyone that's replied and come back with the photos/screenshots that they asked for.

You're getting nowhere with this because the information you're providing isn't helpful on it's own.

We need to see what you're seeing in order to fully understand what's happened.

Likely because it's a hardware fault — something broke because of the physical stresses on the motherboard during the GPU swap/install.
This
I had once knocked a small capacitor lose while installing a GPU. The lan port stopped working as a result. Learnt to be more careful after that!
