Laptops Laptop external speakers issue

Hi Guys,

I am having ACER 5740G model. I am facing a problem when I connect my external speakers to my laptop it is not working while internal speakers n headphones are working fine. What can be the problem?

* Don't tell me that my speakers are bad because I have already tested :)
 
Check your Laptop Audio Port.Something must have stuck in there.Use few drops of Isopropyl Alcohol and chean it with earbud.

If this doesnt work you will have to take the thing to the service center as there may be some loose connection.

Also play with Line out,line in options in audio properties before you take them
 
It could be a driver or OS problem too. Try reinstalling windows after formatting the partition. Sometimes reinstalling only drivers doesnt work in corrupt windows os
 
If your headphones work fine in the same port then it's a jack problem.
Is your speaker jack plugged all the way in? Or is some of the metal still out?
 
Its the JACK. ...if the headphones wrk fine. trying another headphones will zero it .

Freeseasons advice is sufficient....else face the Service Center guys
