Intel processor+discrete video card>AMD APU.
Little scratch is fine. Warranty would be good.
HDD should not have ANY problem. A few scratches can be compromised but no physical damage. No heating problem should be there.
Brand preference: Acer>Dell>Samsung>Lenovo.
Acer once had some very slim models, I've forgotten which but they were ultra books with Pentium, i3, i5s and some of them had discrete switchable cards. I would like something like this.
