31-40k Laptop for 35K

Well, I have a Lenovo Z580, which I bought in february 2013.
The specs are third gen i3
500 GB
4 GB RAM
630M.

Now dad wants to buy a new laptop. I was thinking of giving this to him, and buying a new one.

But the issue is that he will not spend anything more than this budget. Is there any laptop which considerably betters the performance offered by my laptop, or should I keep it and get him a cheaper one because all he needs it for is browsing and a bit of MS Word.

And lastly sorry for not following the prescribed format.

If you can find Samsung NP300E5V-S02IN(33K). Should be better then your present system. Comes with 8750M which is better than a 630M & has a 750GB HDD.

If you are open to buying from Grey market, you have lots of option. The front runner could be HP Envy M6, with full metal body, 1080p touch screen, i5 fourth Generation CPU,8gb RAM, 750 gb HDD and IIRC 64 gb SSD and official windows 8.1 installed.

Available locally for 39-40k and on ebay also it is avilable for 40kish. After using coupons the price can come down around 37k.
