my friend needs to get a laptop soon..

a decent config that can serve any purpose..

basically for home use,a little productivity software usage & entertainment of course..

max budget 35k but can stretch by another 2k..

so can u plz recommend a model from DELL,Acer,Lenovo or HP?

Dell inspiron 1420

Dell Vostro 1400

anythin equally good from the other 3 companies?

id suggest the inspiron 1420, i feel it offers immense value for money an a 14" is jus the right compromise between screen size an weight..

vostro's come out a couple of grand dearer for similar configurations .. allthough i dont find much of a diff between them..
