well i agree as i have 1525 so i know sound is low if u wana listen songs its daam low sound but if u connect 5.1 to it it gives awesome exp

Update the sound card drivers {Realtek} or use AC3 Filter codec .

if u are more concern abt laptop sound then better dont go for 1525 try some other model xps is cool its nice
