I also heard that a person can bring along with him '1' laptop without having to pay customs..........
The customs will be levied only if he gets 2 or more with him.......

^ that is agreed, but the question here is whether to use that "1" laptop exemption in a packed form?
or do you need to show it as part of your "daily use" by bringing it unpacked?
